Privacy notice
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:
Arcanclash
Operator of arcanclash.com
Email: hello@arcanclash.com
No data protection officer has been appointed, as none is required for this service.
2. Data collected when you visit the site
Each time this site is called up, your browser automatically transmits data that our host stores in server log files. These are: the page requested, the date and time of access, the volume of data transferred, notification of a successful request, browser type and version, the operating system used, the referring URL and the IP address in shortened form.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the technically faultless operation and the security of the website. Log files are deleted after 14 days unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident. These data are not combined with other sources.
3. Contact and email
If you write to us by email, we process the details you provide — your email address and the text of your message — solely in order to deal with your enquiry and to answer any follow-up questions.
The legal basis is the performance of steps taken at your request, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us. The data are deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligation stands in the way.
4. Monthly letter
To receive our monthly letter we need your email address and your consent to be sent it. The legal basis is your consent. You can join by writing to hello@arcanclash.com.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example through the unsubscribe link in every issue or by writing to the address above. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal is unaffected. After unsubscribing, your email address is deleted.
5. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary cookies, and only where they are required to operate the site. There is no tracking, no analytics or reach-measurement service is used, and no social plugins are embedded. No profiling takes place.
6. Hosting and processing on our behalf
This website is hosted by an external cloud hosting provider. The provider processes the data arising from your visit on our behalf, on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in a reliably hosted site. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.
To display typefaces we embed web fonts from Google Fonts. This establishes a connection to Google’s servers, in the course of which your IP address is transmitted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent presentation of the site.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the following rights:
- access to the personal data we hold about you
- rectification of inaccurate data
- erasure of your data
- restriction of processing
- data portability
- objection to processing
- withdrawal of consent already given, with effect for the future
Independently of these rights, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the country of your residence or of the alleged infringement, or with the authority competent for the operator’s place of establishment.
8. Transport encryption
For security reasons this site uses an encrypted connection. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser switching from “http://” to “https://”. While encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
9. Changes to this notice
We adapt this notice whenever changes to the website or to the legal position make it necessary. The version available on this page applies in each case. Last updated: September 2026.
